As a few of you know, Far & Son will release their new song "hyr Stället" tomorrow and they've already released a pre-release of the full official version of the song. The name "Hyr Stället" directly translates into "renting the place". The song is about the old expression "x acts like he/she owns the place" and they have a little twist on that saying. According to Frej Larsson & SImon Gärdenfors you will treat it with respect and you're a bit careful if you're owning a place, but if you rent a place, you dont give a S#!T about it and you can treat it like whatever you want. I think Far & Son has a good point, even if i personally treat things i rent with respect. When Far & Son released the pre-release on radio P4, they trashed the studio totally with baseballbats and cans of spraypaint and they left the studio with the words "Vi hyrde det här stället" wich translates into "We totally rented this place". The song is really good with interesting lyrics that has a few "eastereggs" in them. For example: Frej Sings in his other band Maskinen (The Machine) sings a song called "Krossa alla fönster" ("Smash all the windows", It is about if a guy is cheating on you, you should leave him and give him some payback)
He has burned every bridge*
He has sinked all the ships*
He has called you filthy whore
He even has busted your lip
*Swedish sayings
And in "Hyr Stället" he sings this:
I burned every bridge*
I sank all the ships*
I called her filthy whore
I even busted her lip
It is extremely amusing for someone that listens to a lot of music when artists leave small Eastereggs in the lyrics! I look forward to tomorrow when they are releasing the song and the albumcover wich rumors say will be absolutely amazing.
Thanks for reading this! I appreciate it alot
Regards, Espacer!
